So how exactly does Sliver Armor work?
I've been trying to teach myself T1 for FoWSC and even popping Corn\Eggs\Cons and I can't Sliver down any of the mobs, is there a knack or specific strategy to it?
R8 Ebon, it's not max...but I've seen R5 sins do this same role, what gives.
Maybe it's something simple that I'm just not aware of, I'd appreciate any advice whatsoever, thanks in advance.

Sliver armor targets a random near foe each time. If you have many foes inthe near area to you, then it will randomly switch targets each time. However, if you have many ranged foes who are hiting you from far and one shard wolf for example, then sliver will only target that one foe as all others are too far away.
Also, if you are too far away from any foe, then sliver will not deal any damage at all.

Make sure you aggro enough. It only works well if you have lots of people attacking you, so it can help to pull a mob and not kill, but just use them to fuel sliver.

I dont SC and ive no idea if your using a current setup etc.
Enchantment Spell. For 5...10...11 seconds, you have 25...45...50% chance to block attacks and whenever you are the target of a hostile spell or attack one nearby foe is struck for 5...29...35 earth damage.
Basically if you have 3 foes around you attacking or casting spells each time you are the target 1 foe ( at random ) will recieve x dmg - more foes the faster the damage gets sent out.
word of warning tho - sliver had a type of nerf that meant it did hit 1 random target so in a big mob it takes ages to kill them.

You have to get a decent aggroo and pull casters and ranged attackers away from meele, so you can kill meele faster.
In the t1 route u have some monks to kill: kill the meeles first taking a big aggroo, the monks only have few skills and cannot heal many allies. Then go right near the monk, making sure your sliver armor only target him.......

The only quick way to kill melée, e.g. Berserkers, is to pick one target and auto-attack him. When everything else scatters from Sliver, he'll get pwnd. Rinse and repeat. It's not as hard/slow as it seems.

Wow, thanks so much for all the responses.
I'm pretty sure I know exactly what I was doing, I'd just bunch all the agro up together...but now I think I know to separate the casters from the melees, then Sliver...makes a whole lot more sense.
Thanks again, I'll try again here shortly; really, really appreciate all the advice!
